Earl of Woolton
Earl of Woolton is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on January 9, 1956 for the British businessman and politician Frederick James Marquis, 1st Viscount Woolton .
Subordinate title
Together with the Earl title he was given the minor title are Viscount Walberton , of Walberton in the County of Sussex in 1956 . The title is used as a courtesy title by the eldest son of the respective earl .
As early as July 7, 1939, the 1st Earl was given the title of Baron Woolton , of Liverpool in the County of Lancaster , and on July 2, 1953, the title Viscount Woolton , of Liverpool in the County of Lancaster. Both are listed as minor titles to the Earl.
