East Barre and Chelsea Railroad

The East Barre and Chelsea Railroad (EB&C) is a former railway company in Vermont ( United States ). It was founded in 1888 and built a 2.2 kilometer long line by 1889, which connected in Lower Websterville to the line of the Barre Railroad , also opened in 1889, and led to East Barre . It is used exclusively for freight traffic.

On September 18, 1913, the EB&C merged with the Barre Railroad to form the new Barre and Chelsea Railroad . The line of the former EB&C has been closed.
