East Polquhirter
East Polquhirter is a farm building near the Scottish town of New Cumnock in the East Ayrshire council area . In 1979 the structure was included in the Scottish Monument Lists in Monument Category C.
Not far from the farm has been in the past, referred to as "Polquhirter Auld Cairn" Cairn described. In the middle of the 19th century there were reports of four upright stones and the discovery of human bones near the surface. In the meantime, however, the stones were used for building purposes and the cairn can no longer be seen today.

East Polquhirter is isolated on the A76 around 800 m east of New Cumnock. The River Nith runs about 150 m north. The homestead consists of three parts of the building, which enclose a courtyard open to the street on three sides. The two-story residential building is at the front. It is painted in cream shades, the window surrounds are color-contrasting. The one-story stables on the side are whitewashed.
