Ebelingmuseet

Ebelingmuseet is an art museum in Torshälla , Sweden . The museum was inaugurated in 1997 with a permanent exhibition about the Swedish-American ceramicist and multi-artist Allan Ebeling (1897–1975). His daughters, the painters Marianne Ebeling (1930–1979) and Harriet Ebeling (1932–2014), are also represented in the permanent exhibition. A large part of the collection was donated by Harriet and Peter Ebeling. In addition, contemporary Swedish artists are presented in temporary exhibitions.

Selected photographs by Harald Bäckstrand (1901–1995), whose archive is managed by the museum, are also shown as a permanent exhibition. Bäckstrand was the only professional photographer in Torshälla between 1943 and 1971.

The museum is operated by the Eskilstuna municipality in a former industrial building on Eskilstunavägen and had 8,827 visitors in 2017.
