Ec 4/5

All tender steam locomotives with four driving axles and one running axle are designated as Ec 4/5 after the type designation of Swiss locomotives and railcars if their maximum speed is 60 kilometers per hour or 65 kilometers per hour. Although other wheel arrangements would be possible, only locomotives with the wheel arrangement 1'D ( Consolidation ) were built.
