Echeng

The Echeng District ( 鄂 城区 , Èchéng Qū ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Ezhou in the east of the Chinese province of Hubei . Its administrative area extends over an area of ​​520 km² and it has 603,698 inhabitants (2004). It is the center of Ezhou. Its seat of government is in the street district Gulou古楼 街道.
