Ezhou
Ezhou ( Chinese 鄂州 市 / 鄂州 市 , Pinyin Èzhōu Shì ) is a district-free city in the east of the Chinese province of Hubei . The administrative area of the city extends over an area of 1,505 km² and has around 1.06 million inhabitants (end of 2003).
Administrative structure
At the county level, Ezhou is made up of three districts . These are:
- Echeng district (鄂 城区), 520 km², 610,000 inhabitants, center, seat of the city government;
- District Liangzihu (梁子湖区), km² 525, 180,000 inhabitants;
- Huarong District (华容 区), 460 km², 270,000 inhabitants.
