The Echo Lake is a lake in South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It is located at the southwest end of Godthul Bay and 1.75 km northwest of an old whaling depot on the shores of Lake Aviemore .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2009 after the echo that reverberates from the cliffs above the lake.
