The Echternach lake is an artificial lake south of Echternach in Luxembourg . It was laid out in 1975 and is fed by the Lauterbornerbach, which also drains it. There are several islands in the lake that were created for recreational purposes.

Lake Echternach is open for fishing all year round. The municipality wanted to officially declare it a bathing lake, but this has so far failed because the required proof of the water quality could not be provided.
