Edgaras Slušnys

Edgaras Slušnys (* 1991 in Kretinga ) is a Lithuanian badminton player .

Career

Edgaras plays badminton from the 2nd grade. His father and trainer is Arnoldas Slušnys (* 1965). Edgaras belongs to the Club Kretingos BK . Edgaras Slušnys also plays beach volleyball . After graduating from the Pranciškonų High School Kretinga (KPG) in 2010, he studied information technology at the University of Klaipėda from 2010 . Slušnys could celebrate his first success so far at the Lithuanian national championship in 2011. There he won the title in men's doubles with Kęstutis Navickas . He started internationally in 2011 in Poland and Estonia. In 2012 he won national silver as well as in 2014. In 2012 he won the Riga International 2012 and came second at the Slovak International 2012 . A year later he represented his country at the Sudirman Cup in 2013 , then in 2014 at the 2014 European Badminton Team Championship .
