The University of Klaipėda (Lithuanian: Klaipėdos universitetas ) is a state university founded in 1991 in the Lithuanian port city of Klaipėda (Memel) with 10,000 students and around 600 academic employees. The University of Klaipėda today comprises a total of seven faculties and eight institutes. There is also the Klaipėda University Library .
