Edmílson dos Santos Silva (born September 15, 1982 in Salvador de Bahia ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

The 1.83 meter tall striker began his career in 2001 with Palmeiras São Paulo , where he was under contract for three years. He played his first league games for the club in 2003, which was also his last year with the club. He was then loaned for a year from the Japanese club Albirex Niigata , for which he played 29 league games and scored 15 times.

His next stop was in 2008 at the Urawa Red Diamonds club , where he was under contract until 2011. For the Red Diamonds he played 110 league games until 2011 and scored 47 goals. Edmílson then played for one season at Al-Gharafa Sports Club in Qatar , in 2012 for FC Tokyo , in 2013 and 2014 for CR Vasco da Gama . In 2015 he started under contract with Red Bull Brasil . After that he changed clubs several times. a. also back to Japan and returned twice to RB Brasil, where he is currently under contract.
