Edmund Linhart

Edmund Linhart (born March 16, 1949 in Linz ) is an Austrian gallery owner , painter and graphic artist .

Live and act

Linhart graduated from the University of Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz and graduated in 1975 with a diploma. He is a member of the Zülow Group , has been its deputy president since 2000 and has been director of the gallery of this artists' association since 2008.

Linhart is considered to be the inventor of landscapes in a steady state. The drawings arise from an interwoven grid of thousands of ink lines - compositions of trees, stones, earth structures in a state of archaic calm. He lives and works in Linz and exhibits his works at home and abroad.
