Edmunds Sprūdžs

Edmunds Sprūdžs (born June 21, 1980 in Riga ) is a Latvian politician .

Sprūdžs studied business administration in Switzerland and Wales . He was a board member and regional representative of the HansaWorld company . In 2011 he was a founding member of Zatler's reform party . Surprisingly, he was put up as a candidate for the office of prime minister in the elections of the 11th Saeima . On October 25, 2011 he became Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development in the Dombrovskis III cabinet . On August 30, 2013, he announced his resignation until December 1, 2013.
