HansaWorld is a software manufacturer originally from Sweden who specializes in the development of integrated business applications. The vast majority of installations are used in small and medium-sized businesses. However, branches of large international companies also use HansaWorld.
Product strategy
HansaWorld's user interface was originally developed for the Apple Macintosh in 1988 . In 1994 it was ported to Windows and later to Unix and Linux .
HansaWorld is developed in the C ++ programming language . It uses its own technology for database design and integrates TCP / IP natively for network communication. This makes it possible to operate HansaWorld on different platforms without additional software in the WAN . The program is currently available for Windows 2000, XP and Vista, Mac OS X , Unix, Linux, SunOS and Symbian OS S60 and S80. HansaWorld is also certified for IBM's eServer and runs on xSeries , pSeries , iSeries and zSeries .
HansaWorld offers a wide range of integrated e-business applications, such as internal and external e-mail, various web shop solutions and support for PDA devices. In addition, HansaWorld allows the construction of enterprise portals .

- HansaWorld Enterprise is an ERP and CRM suite and offers functions such as financial accounting , cost accounting , logistics , cash register systems , project management , job costing , CRM, e-mail and e-commerce in 45 modules . The number of users varies from 10 to over 250 users per system.
- HansaWorld Express is an integrated business application for small and medium-sized businesses (with up to ten users working at the same time). The basic functionality of HansaWorld Express covers financial accounting, cost accounting, logistics, pipeline management and a number of special applications for various industries.
- FirstOffice is an accounting and contact management application for small businesses and the self-employed for one to four users with functions such as customer relationship management, order processing, warehouse management , offer management , mail campaigns (letter and e-mail), partial deliveries and automatic invoicing .
- BusinessPhone is a multi-user address book with telephony functionality via Skype or a SIP telephone .
- SmartApps is an application for mobile data acquisition in connection with HansaWorld's other applications.
