Eduardo Haro Tecglen
Eduardo Haro Tecglen [ eˈðu̯arðo ˈaɾo ˈtekglen ] (born June 30, 1924 in Pozuelo de Alarcón , † October 19, 2005 in Madrid ) was a Spanish writer, journalist, columnist and anti- Franquist .
Life
Tecglen started his career as a sports journalist. Later he was a correspondent in the then Spanish-Moroccan city of Tetuan . He was editor-in-chief of Tiempo de Historia magazine and head of the Spanish international broadcaster Radio Exterior .
Eduardo Haro Tecglen was head of the Spanish news magazine Triunfo in the 1970s and was often subject to the dictator Francisco Franco's press ban .
Until his death he worked as a columnist for the largest Spanish newspaper El País .
