Education Cannot Wait
Education Can not Wait (education can not wait) is a global fund under the management of UNICEF to ensure the provision of education in emergencies. Governments, humanitarian actors and development organizations are involved to provide a collaborative and rapid response to the educational needs of children and young people affected by crises.
The aim of the fund is to reach all crisis-affected children and young people with a safe, free and qualified education by 2030. The fund was founded at the World Humanitarian Summit , which took place in Istanbul on May 23 and 24, 2016 . Numerous states have signed the relevant document.
Previous donors are: Dubai Cares , European Union , Netherlands , Norway , United Kingdom Department for International Development and the United States.
