Paula Ioan
Paula Ioan (born April 1, 1945 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian gymnast .
She became Romanian horse jumping champion in 1972. In the same year she took part in the Olympic Games . In Munich she was sixth with the Romanian team. In addition, she started in the all-around competition, on the ground, on the uneven bars, on the balance beam and in the jump, but could not reach the final on any single device.
1974 Ioan started at the Gymnastics World Championships in Varna. The Romanian gymnastics team with Alina Goreac , Anca Grigoraș , Elena Ceampelea , Aurelia Dobre, Paula Ioan and Rodica Sabău just missed a medal place and came fourth behind the Hungarians.
