Edward Peter Bertram Savile Foljambe, 5th Earl of Liverpool (born November 14, 1944 ) is a British peer and politician of the Conservative Party in the House of Lords .

He is the son of Peter Foljambe and Elizabeth Joan Flint. His father served as a captain in World War II and fell before he was even born. He attended Shrewsbury School . In 1969 he inherited the title of his great uncle Robert Foljambe, 4th Earl of Liverpool, including the associated seat in the House of Lords.

With the House of Lords Act 1999 , the earl's direct hereditary right to a seat in the House of Lords was abolished. However, he was elected as one of those 92 hereditary peers who were temporarily allowed to keep their seat in the House of Lords.

On January 29, 1970, he married Juliana Mary Alice Noel, daughter of Anthony Noel, 5th Earl of Gainsborough . From this marriage he has two sons. The couple divorced in 1994. On May 26, 1995, he married Marie-Ange de Pierredon, daughter of Géraud Michel de Pierredon, Comte de Pierredon.
