Edward Hubert Chater
Edward Hubert Chater (* 1902 ; † 1975 ) was a British botanist and plant collector. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " EHChater ".
Life
He was the only son of Edward W. Chater in St. Leonard's-on-Sea. On August 5, 1931, he married Margaret Hutchison , the only daughter of William Hutchison of Aberdeen, at St. Columba's Presbyterian Church in St. Leonard's-on-Sea . She had graduated from the University of Aberdeen ( Scotland ) with a Bachelor of Science in 1928 .
Chater graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1932 he received his Masters from the University of Wales .
