Edwin Ekiring (born December 22, 1983 in Nsambya ) is a Ugandan badminton player .

Career

The 1.80 meter tall ekiring is trained by Simon Mugabi . He took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics and finished 17th in the men's singles. At the African Championships in 2007 he won bronze in the men's singles. A year later he won the Mauritius International . Four years after his first participation in the Olympics, Ekiring was again part of the Ugandan squad at the 2012 Summer Olympics . At that time he was active for the BC Amersfoort club . He was 33 at the Olympic tournament. In 2016, he won the Ivory Coast International .
