Edvard Olavi "Eeti" Nieminen (born March 29, 1927 in Pervomayskoye , † April 13, 2016 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish cross-country skier and Nordic combined skier .

Nieminen, who started for the Nokian Urheilijat , took third place in the Nordic Combined at the Lahti Ski Games in 1950. At the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo in 1952 , he came in 21st place over 18 km and eighth place in the Nordic combined. The following year he won the Nordic Combined at the Svenska Skidspelen in Boden . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1954 in Falun , he was sixth in the Nordic combined. In the same year he took third place in Nordic Combined at the Lahti Ski Games. Two years later he won ninth place in the Nordic combined at the Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo .
