Effeff

Effeff has several meanings:

  • The colloquial idiom "to be able to do something inside out" - see Effeff (idiom)
  • ( eff-eff for "Leisure & Fitness") A leisure and home improvement program by the WDR (1978–1990)
  • "Effeff" was also used for company names. The door opening and locking system company founded by Fritz Fuss (FF) in 1936 was called "eff eff". Today she is part of Assa Abloy (see also Zeiss Ikon on eff eff); effeff is still used by her as a brand name.

  • The Austrian retail chain ADEG's own brand for meat products was called “efef”; this was taken over by the Rewe Group in 2011 and has since been called "Rewe Austria Fleischwaren GmbH"
