Efrata ( Hebrew : אפרת) was the name of two women who were mentioned in the 1st book of the chronicles in 2.19.24.50 LUT and 4.4 LUT .

Efrata was Hezron's wife . After Hezron's death, she had sexual intercourse with Kaleb , her husband's son, with another woman. From this relationship she gave birth to Ashhur .
