Egbert Neuhaus

Egbert Heinrich Josef Neuhaus (born June 19, 1953 ) is a German entrepreneur and has been chairman of the Westphalia-Mitte business association in Arnsberg since 2001. He is a member of the CDU . His place of residence is Arnsberg .

education and profession

After high school, with school in 1973, followed by service in the army studied Neuhaus at the University of Münster and Dortmund , where he graduated as the diploma economist made.

He has been working for the family company WESCO in Arnsberg since 1980 and took over the management there in 1990. In 1996 he became a managing partner of WESCO and a subsidiary founded in 1992 in Schwarzenberg / Erzgeb. He has been a member of the General Assembly of the Chamber of Commerce in Arnsberg since 1994 and has been its vice-president since 1996. Since 2001 he has been chairman of the Westphalia-Mitte business association.

Politics and volunteering

Egbert Neuhaus has been a member of the CDU since 1970. From 1970 to 1973 he was the local association chairman of the Junge Union Neheim-Hüsten. From 1975 to 1994 was a member of the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis .

Honors

On November 25, 2015, Egbert Neuhaus received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for his services to the community . He received the Order of Merit of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in 2010.
