Egyptian General Aero Organization
The egao , the Egyptian General Aero Organization based in the Egyptian Helwan made aircraft and jet engines for military use ago. It was opened on July 25, 1962 by the then President Gamal Abdel Nasser .
Were manufactured:
- the Spanish Hispano HA-200 Saeta Jet Trainer under license (Egyptian name 'Al Kahira')
- as an in-house development the Mach 2 capable fighter aircraft HA-300 under the direction of Willy Messerschmitt
- the E-300 jet engine
