The building of the former Jesuit Church of Our Lady is a monument in Friedberg (Bavaria) .

history

After Octavian Secondus and Johann Jakob Fugger had acquired two houses in Friedberg for the Jesuits in 1587 , the church was built in 1588 by Father Johann Völk. The building was destroyed in the Thirty Years War and rebuilt in 1652. In 1666 the Jesuit properties in Friedberg were sold and the college relocated to Kissing . The building of the Jesuit church was renovated after 1703, rebuilt in 1803 and has been a residential building since 1875.

Building description

The building at Jesuitengasse 7 is a two-story eaves side building with a gable roof . To the east is the rest of a former roof turret .
