Oak (Klein Lübars)

In the oak in Klein Lübars is a monumental single tree in the village of Klein Lübars the Möckeraner hamlet Lübars in Saxony-Anhalt . The tree is listed as a natural monument in the local register of monuments under registration number ND 0050JL.

It is a pedunculate oak between 300 and 400 years old called the church oak or parish. It stands around 150 m west of the church ruins on the western edge of the village in a green strip between a private property and a field. It is only freely accessible from the field side. The oak has an estimated height of 23  m and a crown diameter of 30 m. At chest height, the trunk circumference was measured at 6.60 m in 2018. The heavily branched crown develops from the trunk at a height of three meters.
