Eider Stellaire was a French Zeuhl and Fusion band that was formed in 1980.

Band history

Michel Le Bars, Patrick Singery and Jean-Claude Delachat were active for three years under the name Astarte. They broke up this band in 1980 to form Eider Stellaire. With Pierre Gerard-Hirne, Véronique Perrault, Marie-Anne Boda and Michel Moindre they recorded their debut album , which they self-published. It developed into a Zeuhl classic and was a sought-after rarity for a long time until it was re-released by Soleil Zeuhl in 2011 .

The band founders recorded their second album with Frank Coulaud, Ann Stewart (both Shub-Niggurath ), Pierre Minvielle and Marie-Anne Le Bars. It was self-published again in 1986. After the third album - which Le Bars, Singery and Delachat with Franck Coulaud and Isabelle Nuffer ( Altaïs ) had recorded - was released in 1987 by Musea , Eider Stellaire broke up.
