Federal Collection

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Federal Collection was a political party in Switzerland and part of the front movement .

The Federal Collection was the direct successor organization to the National Front , a party close to National Socialism in Switzerland in the 1930s . After their self-dissolution in the spring of 1940, the Frontists founded the Federal Collection under their leader Robert Tobler in the same summer.

The party called for an "adjustment" of Swiss policy to that of the Axis powers . After the capitulation of France in June 1940, Switzerland was surrounded everywhere by fascist and national socialist states.

The Federal Collection was closely monitored by the state and could hardly develop freely. In June 1943, the federal police finally banned the Federal Collection and its subgroups.
