The Eggebek office is an office in the west of the Schleswig-Flensburg district in Schleswig-Holstein . It borders in the north-west on the office of Schafflund , in the north-east on the non-governmental municipality Handewitt , in the west on the district of North Friesland , in the south on the office Arensharde and in the east on the office Oeversee .

history

In 1889 the Prussian districts Eggebek and Jörl were formed. These lasted until the end of the Second World War. In 1968 the current office was created from the amalgamation of the two offices, Wanderup and Jörl, which had existed since 1947. In 1970 the municipality of Langstedt was incorporated into the office.
