Federal Song Festival 1873

The 15th Federal Singers' Festival took place in Lucerne from July 5th to 7th, 1873 . A total of 3600 singers took part in 82 clubs.

Former Councilor of States Abraham Stocker acted as party president . The president of the jury was the Bernese choir pioneer Johann Rudolf Weber , the festival director of the overall performance was the Lucerne general music director Gustav Arnold .
