Eiji Gō

Eiji Gō ( Japanese 郷 鍈 治 , Gō Eiji , civil: Eiji Segawa ( 瀬 川 鍈 治 ); * May 29, 1937 in Osaka , Osaka Prefecture as Eiji Shishido ( 宍 戸 鍈 治 ); † September 11, 1992 in Tokyo ) a Japanese actor.

He is the younger brother of the actor Jō "Joe" Shishido .

In 1960 he made his debut with Kyōnetsu no Kisetsu ( 狂熱 の 季節 ).

At the beginning he played in films from the Nikkatsu studio , but from the 1970s onwards he got more and more offers from the Tōei and Tōhō film studios .

He was mostly cast as a villain or a criminal. In 1978 he married the singer Naomi Chiaki (real name: Mieko Segawa). Eiji Gō died of lung cancer in 1992 at the age of 55.
