Eimutis Žvybas

Eimutis Žvybas (* 1957 in the district of Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian manager and entrepreneur.

Career

Eimutis Žvybas ran the former company " Ekranas " (in Panevėžys ) since July 1990 as general director and later as chairman of the board . In 2006 Ekranas went bankrupt. During the impending bankruptcy proceedings , Eimutis Žvybas tried to move around LTL 10 million (around EUR 3 million) to the company of an Ekranas shareholder via the shareholders' meeting, but the transaction was prevented by the company's lending banks.

Other activities

In 1999 he was elected President of the Panevėžys Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (PPAR), and in 2002 President of the Lithuanian Association of Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (PPAR).

2003–2007, Eimutis Žvybas re-headed the IHHK Panevėžys as president.

Žvybas was the chairman of the Institute Council of the University of KTU Panevėžys. He is the founder and owner of a foundation Eimučio Žvybo fondas , which supports the cultural activities in Panevėžys.

Eimutis Žvybas joined the Seimas elections in 1996 as a member of the Lithuanian party Lietuvos ūkio partija .

Žvybas is married and has two sons with his wife Aldona.
