“ A Munich in New York ” was a 12-part TV series by Bavarian Radio .

From 1979 to 1994, in the during that time reported the United States living Wolfi Fischer in an original and sometimes funny way about New York . He later expanded the reports from the perspective of a Munich resident to all of North America .

Fischer was an author, director and actor rolled into one. On the way in an old, white and blue painted VW bus with Munich license plates, he showed the ordinary and, above all, the unusual in the "land of unlimited possibilities".
