The English port city of Lymington has 15,000 inhabitants and is located in the New Forest district in the county of Hampshire . The city is about two hours' drive southwest of London and is located directly on the English Channel . Lymington, a major marina , is near the New Forest National Park .

Lymington goes to an Anglo-Saxon village from the 6th century BC. BC back. In the Domesday Book of 1086 the city is mentioned as Lentune . Sights are port, marina, renovated houses from the 16th and 17th centuries. Century, a historic market. The city has a good infrastructure; Tourism, trade and agriculture are economically important.
