Einar Lundborg
Einar Lundborg (born April 5, 1896 in Calcutta , India, † January 27, 1931 in Malmslätt ) was a Swedish aviator.
He took part in the Finnish Civil War 1918 and the Estonian War of Independence 1918–1920 . Lundborg became famous in 1928 in connection with the rescue of Umberto Nobile and is now considered a Swedish national hero.
He had a fatal accident in 1931 when testing the Svenska Aero Jaktfalken .
