Ordering
Appointment in the language of diplomacy means a lower level of a diplomatic sanction regarding an event or a statement in the state or government which the ambassador represents. It is one of the sanction options of the receiving state . This sanctioning - located between an informal invitation and the submission of a protest note - is possible under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations , but is very unusual among countries with friendly relations.
