Single dance

A single dance is a dance that is danced by a single person. In contrast to the couple or group dance , no other people are necessary. Examples of individual dances are Oriental dance , breakdance , capoeira , Powwowtanz , tap dancing , striptease , Zeibekikos and Tsifteteli .

Often individual dancers dance with the public on the dance floor and do not stand out as such due to the usual open dance style.
