EVP (trade)

Under a EPP or retail price - even retail price called - which is gross - Sales price understood to which a single product is offered to the end user. The meaning of the abbreviation EVP is often given very differently.

The term is also synonymous with the retail sales price in the German Democratic Republic . In addition, the abbreviation "eVK" also denotes the recommended retail price .

The facts described in the same way by all of these terms have the following characteristics:

  • It is a gross price that the end consumer has to pay, i.e. in the case of the target purchase, this amount indicates the amount of the debtor payable ; by contract law, the buyer releases himself from all payment-related obligations that he has in return for for the transfer of the goods from the sales contract.
  • It is a unit price, which means that the price is usually provided with the addition “per unit” if there are separate prices for containers , a purchase of larger quantities is associated with a discount or other differences in pricing with regard to the quantity purchased - this is the case with magazines that are subscribed to.
