Ice fishing rod

Ice fishing rods are short fishing rods that are specially built for ice fishing . They are usually only between 20 and 50 cm long, often made of fiberglass , and have a sensitive tip that makes it easier to tell whether a fish has bitten.

The ice fishing rod is also known as the pimple rod or pimple . This name is derived from the Swedish term Pimpelfiske for ice fishing.
