The Břeclav railway bridge was built in 1898 near the Lundenburg sugar factory in Břeclav . It connected the siding of the factory on the other side of the Thaya ( Dyje in Czech ) with the Břeclav – Brno railway line . The bridge has a steel truss structure and is riveted .

The bridge is firmly mounted on one bank, while it is mounted on moving rollers on the other bank.

After the sugar factory was closed in 1992, the bridge was no longer needed for rail traffic. After a renovation, it is now available for hikers and cyclists.

The bridge has been a listed building ( Kulturní památka ) since 2010 .
