Truss bridge
Truss bridges are usually designed as steel structures and occasionally as timber structures . Due to the high traffic loads, they are often used as railway overpasses and road bridges . They are available as parallel-belt and non-parallel-belt trusses, as well as with lower and upper decks. Lattice girder bridges are not considered to be truss bridges .
