The Belgrade Railway Museum ( Serbian : Železnički muzej / Железнички музеј) is a museum in the Serbian capital Belgrade .

It was founded on February 1, 1950, it is located at 6 Nemanjina Street and is now owned by the Serbian Railways (ŽS).

The first exhibition took place in 1953 and was entitled “History of the Yugoslav Railways” ( Kroz istoriju Jugoslovenskih Železnica ).

The museum owns over 40,000 exhibits and also has an archive and library. It operates the Šargan Eight , a narrow gauge - railway museum , which the village Mokra Gora to the station Šargan Vitasi leads.
