Pyskowice Railway Museum

The Pyskowice Railway Museum is an open-air museum founded on the initiative of railway enthusiasts in 1998 on the disused railway facilities at the Pyskowice railway station (Peiskretscham). It has more than 60 exhibits. The Upper Silesian Sand Railway was once operated on the site . The associated private association has made it its business to save and restore old railway vehicles.

Exhibits

The museum has steam locomotives , diesel locomotives , freight cars, passenger cars, railway cranes and more.

The exhibits include:

  • Steam locomotives: PKP class Ol49 , Fablok TKh49-1 , TKp 4422, TKp 3409, TKt48-29, Pt47-50, Ty2-1292, Ty2-1312, Ty42-24, Ty43, Ty45-158; Ty45-125, Ty51-17
  • Diesel locomotives: 0130, 409Da-436, Ls40, Ls60, SM03, Ls300, LDH70, LDH18
  • Others: Bhp, 94AA, EW90, EDK300
