The PKP class Ol49 is a passenger train - tender locomotive of the Polish State Railways PKP.

The Ol49 series was developed by Fablok in Chrzanów from 1949 . Between 1951 and 1954, a total of 115 locomotives were built at Fablok. Three locomotives came to North Korea , the remaining 112 were received by PKP. 36 of these still exist in Poland.

The locomotive was intended primarily for passenger train service on main lines. The low axle mass of 17 t, however, also made it possible to use it on secondary lines.
