In a Bulgarian military train that was traveling on the Thessaloniki - Alexandroupoli - Swilengrad railway and carried 30 cars, the clutch broke on an uphill slope after the fifth car , so that 25 cars started moving down the slope. In Buk (today: Paranesti ) they collided with 28 also occupied cars from another military train. 150 people died and 200 were also injured.
