Klostermühle (Farschweiler)
The Klostermühle (also Gehrensmühle or Karlsmühle ) is a former mill and bakery business in the district of Farschweiler in the Trier-Saarburg district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
It is located between Herl and Lorscheid on Landesstrasse 149 and at the confluence of the Saarbach and Feller Bach rivers . Downstream on the Herl district is the coffee mill , now an Ayurveda healing center, and weekend houses are located in the Lorscheid district.
According to Meyer's Orts- und Verkehrslexikon , the mill had eight inhabitants in 1912/1913.
In the 1960s the property served as a spa house and hotel-restaurant and from 1990 onwards it was used as a temporary home for migrants . Today the buildings are empty.
