The Iron Cross is a war memorial in the Klötzer Forest in the Altmark in Saxony-Anhalt .

The memorial was erected after the First World War to commemorate the forest workers who died in the war. It consists of several boulders . A boulder stands upright on a stone base. On this is the inscription In memory of the fallen forest people and forest workers . The stone is crowned with a black iron cross.

The monument stands at the intersection of several forest paths in the area of ​​the district of Klötze , east of the city, and is a well-known hiking destination. The Altmark cycling circuit passes right by. Several shelters and resting places have been created in the immediate vicinity of the monument. A few meters southeast of the cross stands the Bismarck oak .
