Ice hare
The Eishere or Einher is a giant mentioned in the deeds of Charlemagne (Gesta Karoli Magni).
Although it is declared as a giant, it does not come from Germanic mythology , but rather is described as a human giant ( Höttges ). To be more precise, he is referred to as a man from Thurgau and looks like a gigantic hero . He is able to replace an entire army on his own, which is what gave him its name. However, both size and strength of the giant correspond to the proportions fantasies of the monk Notker Balbulus , who wrote this work.
